Feeling that she wasn't going to make any friends if she didn't speak up, Lilith said "Uhm, hi. My name's Lilith." Then she turned to the boy talking about quidditch and asked, "What position do you play?"

Lost for almost an hour now and slightly overwhelmed by the large castle, Rain came to another fork in the stone halls. "I could have sworn I've gone this way..." she trailed off, looking to her right. She pushed a hand through her short, layered black hair and sighed, deciding to check every room until she found someone(the only logical thing TO do)... unfortunately all the doors were locked. "Crap." she mumbled. Finally hearing close voices, she figured it was the Calligma first years she had been walking with to the common room, coming back to find her... Looking around the corner, she stared a bit alarmed at a group of students, not one from Calligma, who were talking intently about Quidditch. She was standing by a suit of armor when she ducked behind it once a girl with a Bonanita badge on her robes looked her way. Accidentally dropping her wand, she bent down quickly to retrieve it, knocking into the armor. She cursed her clumsiness after it all came crashing down in a loud bang.

Startled by the loud bang, Sam jerked her nose up out of her book and looked around, surprised to see people. She hadn't been paying attention. She pulled her long blonde hair out of her face and stood up on numb legs from where she had been sitting against a stone wall. She stretched and looked around. She spotted the source of the noise, a calligma and a rather unfortunate accident with a suit of armor. Feeling a little sorry for her with the way everyone was staring, and the definite need to stretch her long, cramped legs, Sam walked over to her, passing a small group of students, and introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Sam. Would you like some help with that?"

The emberassed Calligma looked up and nodded meekly. "Yeah." With the help of Sam, she hoisted the armor back to it's feet, picked up the helmet and replaced it. She was relieved the girl had broken the awkward stares of the group nearby and felt a wave of grattitude toward the Actutuseo. She smiled, turning towards the taller student. "Thanks! I'm Rain by the way."

Sam half-smiled back at the black-haired girl and nodded. "Hi, Rain. It's no problem. I imagine that wasn't you're preferred way to make an entrance." She looked around, realising for the first time that she had left her book and her bag leaning against the wall on the far side of the room. She started to head over, glancing back over her shoulder and hoping that Rain was following her. She liked the seemingly timid Calligma, and could definitely do with someone to talk to.

Lilith sighed as she watched two girls quickly become friends as a result of an accident. This was how things were at her old school. She stepped back against the wall, feeling invisible.

Sam gestured politely afor Rain to come with her. As she made her way back to her bag, she noticed a girl standing back from the crowd, looking rather forlorn, not three away from where she had been sitting. Sam smiled up at the black-haired Actutuseo leaning against the wall as she knelt down to do up her bag. "Hi, I'm Sam. I'm an Actutuseo, too ... obviously." She added, glancing down at her badge. She pulled her long hair back and looked around, nodding at Rain as the Calligma came up behind her. "And this is Rain."

Rain followed the girl, not having anything else to do around here and knowing it'd probably be awhile before she found her way back to the common room. Sam went over to her book and bag... which reminded Rain that she had homework on the first day. She frowned at the thought and made a mental note to get on it... someday. She stood by Sam, examining the book. It seemed interesting, she'd have to ask to borrow it sometime... Handing it to Sam, she then noticed a shadowed girl standing against the wall a few feet away and felt sympathy knowing she'd been friendless in her last school for some time at the beginning of the year. She smiled, waving at the girl, which by the badge on her robe shown she was another Actutuseo.

Sam talked to the other girl as Rain came over having dazed off a bit, she heard Sam introduce her and nodded. "Hey."

Lilith had to hold in the excitement of meeting these to girls as she said "Hi, I'm Lilith," to the Calligma who had joined her and Sam, one of her fellow Actutuseo. She brushed her shoulder-length hair and beaming at the other girl. "Do either of you play any Quidditch?" She waited with bated breath, afraid they might not approve of her love of the sport.

Sam stood up and slung her bag over her shoulder, nodding at Lilith. "I've never played Quidditch, although I'd love to. I reckon I'd be okay. I'm a muggleborn, so I didn't find out about anything until I got my letter. I've got a bunch of reading material on it, though, and with the moving pictures, my God it looks amazing!" She took a deep breath to calm herself. She felt a little giddy. This was her chance to learn more about her favorite sport. "What about you?" She asked Lilith. She turned to the Calligma beside her. "Rain, do you play?"

Rain nodded. "I play a lot with my dad and teach my younger sister a few things..." she paused a moment, reconsidering the mention of her father-sided family. "...I'm no pro, but I love the game! I'm better as a Keeper. What's your favorite positions?"

"I love Quidditch too!", beamed Charisma at Jenoah.
She then listened to Justin, "Oh, wow! Fireballs would be cool. Although, knowing me, I'd probably roast a few things I didn't mean to."
