Jaden did his best to see in the dark without a light. He didn't want anyone to notice him. He took out the parchment from his pocket, tapped it three times with his wand and silently chanted. The message soon turned into a snake. He set it gently on the ground and it slithered off into the blinding darkness.
His first report had been made.
Jaden walked quietly and inconspicously back to the school.

A gray cat has seen this entire scene unfurl, and it really ruffled his fur. He trots away, a look on his face one that you rarely see on cats.

An eagle was flying above, watching this happen. "Hmm..." the eagle said, for the eagle had been Celina.

Justin had been sitting there unseen and unheard... he saw the entire thing and sent a runic-drone to follow the snake as he tried to tap into the thoughts that were flowing around him... "I knew I didn't like him for a reason..." he muttered under his breath...

Suddenly an arrow flew into Celina's wing. "Ow!" she said as she fell to the ground turning human. "What the hell?" she said and started to breath a bit shallow.

Rain notices an eagle being shot down nearby and the familiar grey cat scamper past her as she watched from between a skinny rock crevice. 'He needs to find a more discreet place for this kind of thing... or tune up his sixth sense.' she thought, frowning to herself. She then sunk to the dark behind her to return to the castle.

"Whoa." Celina said and shakes her head. "How am I supposed to get this arrow out?" She said and sighed.

The gray cat turns back. For a second, it seems to contemplate something, then it bolts back to the injured girl. It sits in front of her, wearing a 'should I or shouldn't I?' look on it's face. Then it turns into-of all things-a teenage human with gold eyes and gray hair. "You okay, friend-of-my-kitten?" he asks her with an air of nonchalence that doesn't match his suspisios, rather bitter looking eyes.

Celina looked at the human-cat thingy. "I'm fine." Celina said geting up. "I think."

"Would you like me to heal that?" the cat-thing asks. "I probably could. Although I'll have to remove the arrow by hand, which will cause pain."

Celina looked at her arm. "Please heal it. I don't care about the arrow, just heal it. Please." she told the cat-thing.

"Alright, but don't blame me for the pain. I'll make it quick." He grabbs the arrow shaft firmly, prays it didn't break, and pulls it out with a yank, twisting it as he does so the arrowhead won't stick. The second it's out, he puts his hand on the wound "make the wound undo, those who did it to." The cut dissapears as though it was never there. "Those incantations sure are stupid, eh?" he asks.

"Don't bother. I didn't do this for thanks. I did it because you're my friend, through Corliss. Plus, if Corliss found out I didn't help you in a time of need, I'd end up in a soup pot or something. So I take it you've seen that strange Calligma boy who was here? Corliss once refered to him as 'Jaden,' I beleive."

"Uh...yeah. Is that his name? I never met him. Something bothers me about him..." Celina said, looking away from the cat-thing after what he said.
