I've been getting a lot of the same questions asked, so i'll use this board to answer a few. If you have any other questions you can post them here too and i'll answer them.

Q. How do I get sorted?
A. Post your info in the "sorting ceremony" board under the "Grand Foyer" catagory.

Q. I posted but it didn't tell me my dorm.
A. I have to manually sort you all so it won't do it immediately. I'm on at night, (like late late), and sometimes in the morning. I'll sort you as soon as possible.

Q. How do I get the dorm password?
A. Since it will get a little hectic once we have more members, you must owl me for the password once your sorted. I've been trying to keep up but sometimes I forget a few people if i'm doing a lot at once. If I haven't already sent it to you, owl me.

Q. What is "owling"?
A. Personal messaging. Underneath someone's avatar there are little icons. One is for personal messaging, the others are for e-mail, and im (but only if that info is given by the member.) Everybody has pm's because it goes directly through the forum.

Hi, I have a question. What is Karma? And how do you get it?

karma just allows other students/teachers etc, to rate you. underneath someone elses karma it says exalt or smite. smite gives you negative karma, exalt gives you positive karma. You cannot give karma to yourself, someone else must give it to you. It has no bearing on what you can or cannot do around the forum. Its simply a social status.

Hello again! I was wondering, is the American equivalant of Ravenclaw 'AcUtuseo' or 'ATUtuseo'? I've seen it spelled both ways ...

Its Acutuseo. I typed it in wrong when I was making the groups, but i've just recently fixed it. It spelled ACUTUSEO. The others (for the record...) are spelled VIRTUSTUDO, BONANITA, and CALLIGMA.

I haven't formed the official teams yet because we don't have enough players, when I do, I'll post the list of the official team in your respective locker rooms. You'll also have a note under your name saying your position. (like when your a prof, and it says 'Divination Proffessor' underneath your name). I'm working on getting more members, but until we have at least 2 teams we cannot begin playing. Currently Acutuseo is the closest, but they have 3 seeker tryouts, and one tryout for a "blugger" which if its not a misspelling of the word "bludger," which is a ball, i'm assuming they meant "beater," but i'm not enthusiastic about assigning that person to the position if there are others who want to be beaters. Virtustudo is also close, but Bonanita currently has no tryouts. And Calligma only has like 2. So when I form the teams you'll know, but before I start practices, we need teams.

why can't we post under poll and list boards when we want to chat?

Because there are about 150 other boards designed specifically for "chatting". And usually when people start posting on those boards it becomes a bitter arguement, or just nonsense, or people copying each other, or whatever, and when I have to actually use that board I don't like sorting through that crap. Plus it takes like forever to erase it.

Is it possible to check your karma? Secondly, how long does it usually take to get the password to your dorm? I owled and haven't gotten it yet.
