Christine stood in front of the class, the board covered in writing. Books sat on each desk, already turned to the proper page. On the board, the largest letters read "DARK ARTS SPELLS". Christine smirked. This would be a very interesting class.

"Breathe, Natalie, Breathe." Soon, the entire class had entered and Christine took her place in front of the class. "First off, the fire spell. Who can tell me how to produce fire with their wand?"

Louise came strolling into class late. Noticing class had started she looked at her professor. "Sorry Professor" She smiled nervously and quickly took the first seat she saw.

"Alright, maybe im moving to fast. Let's try it this way. To know Defensive spells, you should know the Dark arts spells. Just because they are claimed as dark arts spells, does not necessarily mean they are actually bad. Spells do not claim good or bad. The fire spell for example, is claimed bad because it fried three muggles 8 years ago. The spell could easily be used to light a fire in your fireplace! The water spell is claimed as good, yet you could use it to drown someone. You have to realize this. There is no such thing as Dark spells." Christine said, walking around the classroom as she spoke.

Dawn set down next to Ava in the back, seeing as she looked nice and Dawn didn't want to sit alone. She listened to the professor, taking out her notebook, and actually -for the first time at Hogwarts- started to take notes.

Dawn was glad to put her DADA notebook away, instead taking the little paper infront of her. "Heya!" she wrote down.

Christine walked by, picking the note up. "We do not send notes in this classroom Ava." Christine said, throwing it away. "Ms. Vesperra, name a spell. Any spell."

"Patronus! Good one! The full body Patronus has the ability to attack humans. And yet, we all learn it by third year. Am I proving my point yet?"
